SOLBERG^® EVOLUTION 1% SFFF

SOLBERG^® EVOLUTION 1% SFFF (patent pending) is a low-viscosity, 1% fluorine-free foam concentrate designed to protect large atmospheric storage tanks and processing areas in the petrochemical, oil and gas, and marine industries. Its combination of hydrocarbon surfactants and additives provides foaming, vapour sealing, extinguishment and burnback resistance for attacking and securing shallow and fuel-in-depth Class B hydrocarbon fires using fresh, salt or brackish water.

Proportioned at 1% for hydrocarbon fuels, this fluorine-free Class B foam concentrate is designed for fast knockdown, extinguishment and vapour suppression of gasoline, Jet A, Jet A-1 and other hydrocarbon fuels. Its concentrated formulation can reduce the foam volume needed for planning and supply during large incidents. The biodegradable, non-persistent formulation contains no silicone or siloxane chemistries and no intentionally added PFAS.

SOLBERG EVOLUTION 1% SFFF can be proportioned through standard firefighting equipment and discharged through handlines, monitors and fixed systems. It is UL 162 Listed for Type II and Type III application at 1% with both fresh and salt water. The concentrate has also been tested and proven in independently witnessed, large-scale fuel-in-depth tank fires at application rates below those specified in NFPA 11.
