Position Overview:

Perimeter Solutions is a premier global solutions provider, producing firefighting foam, foam hardware, and lubricant additives. Our firefighting products are designed for use in high risk, high hazard applications where there is no room for error. This Business Development role will be a key component to the growth of Perimeter Solutions in North America, identifying new business in crucial markets such as Petrochemical, Chemical, Pharma, Aviation Fixed Foam Systems, Commercial, and emergency response segments.

Objectives of this Role

  • Develop new business opportunities targeting key vertical markets including Petrochemical, Chemical, Pharma, Aviation Fixed Foam Systems, Commercial, and emergency response segment of the key vertical markets.
  • Develop knowledge of the full product portfolio with special emphasis/expertise in Class B foam and foam hardware systems.
  • Develop presentations for new business opportunities and foster relationships and develop partnerships with new customers
  • Monitor market trends and customer needs to help develop product, marketing, and channel strategy.
  • Support the transition of new customers to the sales staff
  • Support strategic initiatives to meet business goals

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Identify new customer targets in key vertical markets
  • Prepare and present company and product orientation to new customers
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
  • Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in-line with strategies, and lead and facilitate
  • Support the business at trade shows and industry conferences

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, and/or Management
  • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Exposure to business enterprise systems (i.e. – NetSuite, SAP)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM software (i.e., NetSuite)
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations
  • Ability to travel to 75% of the time, majority of travel throughout USA, with some to Canada, Latin America, South America, Caribbean
  • Ability to travel by air, vehicle, and public transportation
  • Home based work environment
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
