Description

Become a member of the Perimeter Solutions fabrication and welding team with the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of equipment manufacturing from specialized firefighting equipment to pressure vessels. Perimeter Solutions uses a wide range of welding styles including multiple processes with Aluminum and Steel.

Responsibilities:

• Reading Shop prints and able to fabricate to reasonable tolerances
• Work with a detailed Quality program and able to complete all paperwork after training is completed
• Keep work area clean and organized and set a high standard for the importance of this.
• Fabrication and tack up of projects to drawing specifications.
• Complete weld out to the specifications of projects solo or as a team

• Keep an open mind and always interested to try new things and complete any task associated with project
• Good communication with team and supervisor
• Able to lift and complete all tasks in accordance with the position
• Attention to detail with every task
• Comply with all Safety policies
• Capable of passing an FCAW weld test _ vertical up
• High School Diploma
• Schooling or training in welding and fabrication (reasonable amount of on-the-job training is acceptable)
• Timely with arrival to work and throughout all projects and tasks.
• Comfortable logging time, specific to tasks utilizing an electronic system.

 Preferred but not Required: 

• Experience with Pressure Vessels and working in compliance with the ASME code.
• Weld Certifications of any kind
• Experience with Aluminum welding
• Welding experience with the SAW process.
• Leading others to achieve a goal or complete a project
• Welding Robot Programming
• Comfortable following weld procedures.
